Blur Future Workouts

@Jonathan thank you or clarifying. Please just make the feature optional / toggle on/off. You can even enable it by default once it is released, but then those of us that like to see future workouts even if they may change have not lost any functionality. Not everyone uses TR the same way, so for some of us this does feel like a loss of functionality.

Great to hear! Otherwise you might not get any more Ride Ons from me!

I like it. I tend to want to tinker with my workouts and alternates weeks out and then get annoyed when adaptations blow away my changes, so this will at least help me stop doing that. Out of sight, out of mind.

It’s only wrong if you accept an adaptation, which I admit I often don’t.

Especially as I can’t pick and choose the adaptations I want to accept, when there is more than one of them being offered.

I am definitely guilty of only accepting adaptations that are harder than the current planned workouts, is this the problem you are looking to solve?

Are we not following the adaptations offered and this is a way for us not to seem them in the first place?

A slightly different issue, but I would be concerned about missing a key workout because of red light/green light.

I have often been offered an adaptation to an easy endurance ride, from a key workout.

I will ignore this, but then maybe move the key workout to another day, so i don’t miss it during the week, or ignore the adaptation completely and do the workout anyway, as that’s the only opportunity I have to do it that week.

You have told us many times consistency and hitting the key workouts is important.

How do I sign up to beta hidden workout?
I’m really curious about this.

I do like the ability to see the specific future workout, look to see if I did it before, and then speculate on how I could perform this time around. If it changes before I get there, it doesn’t bother me. It helps me feel engaged in the process, even if TrainerRoad is doing the actual coaching. I guess I’d rather see a specific plan that might change instead of being covered by a Starcraft style “fog of war”.
