Kickstarter campaign for a chain based power meter. I’m thinking of backing. Yes, the video for meter isn’t great but interesting concept. Thoughts?
Google around on that, or read below. Most people in the know of this type of tech have serious doubts about the ability to pull this off. If you want a cheap(er) power meter. There are several Chinese (Magene, etc) companies that are offering decent quality for a fair price. I would go that route before gambling my money on this.

I would be extremely sceptical until we have seen third party testing from someone like dcrainmaker or gplama. So far what they have shown is not matching Favero so 
. The founder posted here for a while but I don’t think they have been active since then.
