I’ve just been talking to Santander. The bike cover limit EXCLUDES theft from an outbuilding. So the limit of £2500 per claim for theft from outbuildings caps the amount that you could claim. Lock all of your bikes up somewhere else and they’re covered, but store them in your garage and they’re only partially covered!

In the house should be fine, I believe. I did sign up with Santander in the end, despite the limitations. I just don’t have hours to spend finding a better option!

Strava Premium offers insurance as a Premium subscriber perk. You also get 20% discount from an insurer. Doesnt mention House insurance but could be worth asking about. Covers the UK. Blogged about it here.
