Base training progression

Question, currently doing Base training plan 1. When this is finished, do I move to base plan 2? Is that the progression? Thanks in advance

TrainerRoad Classic 28 week progression:

  1. Sweet Spot Base 1
  2. Sweet Spot Base 2
  3. Build
  4. Specialty

Yep!! as bbarrera points out the progression of the training program. There is no need to take a break between training blocks because the last week is a recovery week.


To make the process even easier, you can always use plan builder. Just put the start date to the day you started Base 1 and it will plan out the rest of your season for you!
