Base I and II - what is next? I love to suffer

I enjoy long rides and challenges

I am older (48) and don’t plan to race for another year but was wondering after base I and Base II what should be the next one?

Several long multiday endurance rides await me this year and early next…what should be my next options I am a little confused about what to choose next.

Well, easy is relative. It could be you need to update your FTP and/or responses to AT.

If you have events, the suggestion would be to put them and priority into Plan builder and it will tell you what to do to train for them. If not, then build comes after Base II. Pick the genre that most matches the type of events you are doing. The typical TR pattern is Base I, Base II, Build, Specialty → Repeat. At least until your season is done and then you might do some extended off-season periodization like a traditional base phase.

Use plan builder and select the century specialty, choose the day you started base 1 as start date and fill in the day of your event etc and let plan builder do its thing
