I had a six year old Hammer that was working fine until I was doing a workout where there was hardly any resistence. I would be spinning over 100 rpm and only getting about 100 watts. If this was normal I would be doing a lot more watts. After getting some opinions on this forum I decided to get a new trainer (made sense, the trainer was old and probably had at least 50,000+ kms). I received my new Blackjet Victory with the Zwift cog installed. I got it set up and had Trainerroad in ERG mode, but still have the same problem. I’m spinning like a hamster and having no power. So to me this most likely would be a Trainerroad issue. I’ve unistalled and reinstalled Trainerroad without resolving the issue. Any ideas?
Can you provide more details about your setup? On what device are you running TR? How are you connecting?
Have you tried controlling it from Blackjet’s app? Before you try TR, or another 3rd party application. Is it actually connection, does Bluetooth/ant+ work?
You could also contact/email TR support, they might be able.to look at your power file to see if anything is off.
I run TR through my iPad and connect through bluetooth. That’s the funny thing. I’ve run it this way for years with no issues.
Send a message to support - they will be able to check what devices were connected during the workout and if there were any signal dropouts.
Are you running TR in parallel with another app such as Zwift or TrainingPeaks Virtual? If both apps are trying to control the trainer resistance then you’ll get this behavior.
Hi. No, unfortunately this showed up in TR with my Hammer and is still doing the same with my new Jetblack.
Hi. Sent a message to support. Hopefully I hear back from them soon (don’t expect anything during the weekend).
It looks like Eric is on your case.
I’m confident he’ll be able to help you out! ![]()
