Associating outdoor rides

When you associated an outdoor ride with a workout, and your progression levels change, is that TR assuming you did something similar to the workout suggested, or is it actually looking at the training effect of the ride you did and a adjusting levels accordingly? Example would be if I did a ride with a bunch of VO2 work instead of recommended endurance, would it bump up VO2 or endurance?

no, not currently, right now if you associate with an endurance ride and end up doing a bunch of vo2, you still just get credit for the endurance ride

example: did more tempo than endurance on this, which I knew I wouldn’t get ‘credit’ for, but I don’t sweat tempo and endurance levels. If you want to do vo2, pick a vo2 workout. I try my best to stick with the spirit of the ride
