I got the same, restarted the app and still the same, however a few minutes later and I can watch the preview show.

I’ve had this exact problem. Emailed them through the app but heard nothing yet (20 hours) I did a log out, delete and install. But still unable to watch the World of Cycling yet.
Did you guys log out or did it just come right for you?

For me, it just came right in 5 minutes or so
Purely asking for reasons of curiosity obviously … how locked down is the geo targeting on the app? Is it just on IP address or is going the full Eurosport Player route of using app store region and phone location service?

I thought it was pretty good too. It’s a good value-add for the platform and makes the subscription price (which is already pretty low, IMO) that much more worth it.
It worked fine for me right from the get-go.
Were you able to purchase GCN for a country other than where you’re location? I’m trying to get the UK subscription and using a VPN but the app is still detecting my location. Considering the UK version is $26 with 3x the racing than the US version at $40 seems like we’re getting ripped on this.
Are you still going to upload races on Youtube? 99% of my viewing is on the iPad while I’m on the trainer. I guess I can use the app too if the races are available, or will I need to pay for the subscription? I really enjoy the CX coverage you provide!
Just enjoyed watching Strade Bianche via Race Pass. Finally great Eurosport coverage without annoying ads for UK betting companies!

Yeah coverage was good, but couldn’t find a web version to watch it on my Mac so had to make do with tiny iPhone.
Seems like you can only watch it on the GCN app
So it is $40… sigh, I enjoyed the GCN commentary for CX last year. I still want to support flobikes, but their in-house commentary isn’t very good. The CX race coverage is fine, but narration is… authentic. I guess with little local racing this year I’ll save a ton on entry fees but I really hate how US pays more for less whenever it comes to these online services.

I just paid for the monthly subscription via my Apple account. Just for experimental reasons , of course I then connected with express vpn with a UK Ip and the highlights of today’s races worked.
Finding the app a bit hit and miss though. Now it is saying purchase a subscription and nothing is working. Not even the world of cycling show. Hopefully just teething problems
Can anybody see the replay yet ?? I’ve paid and can watch the highlights of the women’s race but nothing available for the men’s race yet…
I can rewatch the Men’s Race in full but no curated Highlights show for me.

Not really sure when this got updated, didn’t see it yesterday.
The content here in New Zealand is pretty average, it appears Strade Bianche isn’t available - although I can see the preview and watch the women’s highlights.
Now they have this article up I’m definitely going to cancel, it’s not worth it. The strange thing is nobody plays these races here so no idea why we have such restrictive content.
