Any way to make the app faster?

It seems to lag for quite a long time when looking at the Calender

As well as trying to add workouts

Any suggestions appreciated

Was a bit slow loading my scheduled workout today. Overall it has been pretty fast.

Sorry to hear about the trouble – here are a few tips that may help you out:

  • Restart the device you’re using to run the TR app if it has been a while
  • Close out of all other apps that may be running in the background when you are trying to use TR
  • Similarly, make sure to close out of the TR app when you’re done using it
  • Check that your device has at least 2GB of storage free so the app runs optimally
  • Ensure you have a strong internet connection

For what it’s worth, I do think there was something else going on this morning. It took me ~5 minutes to get the app to load this morning after trying to force close and re-open the app, even restarting the device. Tried on Android and iOS, and even booted up a different wireless network too. Just got the “spinning” icon sitting there not doing anything.

It resolved itself after 5-6 minutes, but I had time to go back upstairs, grab my garmin, and was getting ready to load up a workout on that when the app finally loaded up. No issue after that point.

Might not have even been TR, for all we know there could have been a general internet switching issue. Who knows…

The app won’t even open

Hopefully it resolves itself by tomorrow for the planned workout.

I deleted the app and downloaded again

Fortunately it works now

I’ve had this issue the past 2 days (although mine never loaded) and had to load an earlier Beta version to actually get the app to work. This was both Beta and Production iOS apps for me. I have an old iPhone (iPhone 8) so I was thinking it might’ve been that, but maybe not. Restarted my phone multiple times, quit and reopened the app, but nothing worked except using an older version.

Same here. App is stuck on the loading screen…for about 60 seconds

My app was stuck on the loading screen for a long time today. Installing the latest update seemed to fix it.

The IOS app is very laggy. Things like adding survey responses cause it to freeze for 10 seconds or so. Also going back through the months on the calendar is so unresponsive I don’t even bother any more, I just use the web page. Same for my girlfriend on IOS. Not an issue with internet speed, 100% an app based problem.

Tested just now . Workout loaded iPhone 11 in less than 1 second. App opened in 2 seconds.

Tested just now. Opened yesterday’s road ride that was imported from Strava. The little section titled ‘Survey’ was greyed out and took 11 seconds to appear. When I enter the survey response and save, the app becomes unresponsive for several seconds and it’s not clear if it has crashed. What you have tested is not relevant to what I’m reporting.

It’s not a major issue for me, I almost always use the web page for updating stuff, just thought I would report it.
