Amount of type A events per year

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to plan some Type A events this year, and I wanted to get some advice on the best approach. How many Type A events can I realistically plan in a single year? Additionally, what’s the recommended amount of time that should be between each event to ensure they’re well-spaced and successful?

Any insights or personal experiences you can share would be really helpful!

I think there’s a minimum period of at least 8 weeks between A events, if you use the plan builder and add the events to your calendar.

You can add one as a B event if it’s less than that.

If events are only a week or two apart, then you can carry your fitness across them, it’s the 4 to 8 weeks where it gets hard to stay at your peak.
