Interesting thread and it shows how individual fitness is and how specific to each of us and our disciplines. My best guess is that your riding is primarily on/off in terms of power -since you don’t have a power meter on your mob it isn’t apples/apples/ to indoor with your Neo - but Id bet looking at your heart rate - you’ll see some spikes/fluctuations indicating the on off nature of your efforts. Your body probably isn’t used to staying steady on the gas. With some time and training - you’ll adapt is my best guess and be able to complete them @ your actual ramp test ftp.
