Alternatives to Tour de France on Peacock in USA

oh man, I don’t know how bad Peacock is but SBS commentary team is painful.

I think we’ve covered all the English speaking options. I’m going with VPN + Flo and try to click on but not see the “here is the outcome of the race” thumbnails they always post.

Idk man. I’ll let Nicko Roche serenade me any day with that accent

Is a VPN (ie Australian IP address) all you need for this?

Ya

Anyone had any luck finding the world feed in Peacock? Only a few minutes into the US feed and the constant switching between miles and km in the graphic is making me feel like I’m going crazy.

World feed is not being offered on Peacock this year. It’s unwatchable on the US feed. Reddit post people are advising a VPN and watching the Canadian coverage on Flo.

VPN, Australia on SBS is what I’m using and works well for free coverage.

Has anyone else in the US found a feed that offers better resolution (image quality)? We traveled to the Amstel Gold race this year where the images on the screens at the finish pavilion were crystal clear unlike what I’ve seen through Peacock/MAX/GCN+ etc.

I am doing a VPN to Canada to watch the FloBikes version, it’s not cheap and the feed’s resolution is low, but about the same as Peacock. Coverage is MUCH better though.

Massive mistake for Peacock to not offer the international feed….Uncle Phil, Bobke and VdV are just insufferable.

VPN and Canada to the rescue, thank god.

To add insult to injury, Peacock raising prices in two weeks…

That may be the first time anyone has ever made that statement regarding anything, lol.

This is bullshit. There goes my $12

Anyway to get it in a smart tv?

I am streaming it from my phone to my Samsung TV….no issues.

Anyway I can test before I pay? I have a lg. how do I send to tv?

No idea if / how you can test……it should stream to an LG, but every system can have its own peculiarities.

To cast to the TV, just hit the icon in the corner that looks like a triangle and a TV screen. Compatible devices will come up in a list.

FloBikes has a free livestream on YouTube right now if you wanna test out their coverage first. Suspect they’ll keep it there for the first few stages, or select stages only.

I presume it’s geolocked and not visible unless using a Canadian VPN or are physically in Canada.
