Pretty sure my AI FTP detection is all bunged up. Encountered more issues from my previous post so I thought it would be best to gather a full list of the issues I’m seeing with my AI FTP detection not registering with higher prediction, being reset, or seeing duplicates.
TLDR: AI FTP keeps resetting back to same value and removing me from the AI detection, now I have 2x detections? Confused.
2025-12: I was in the Beta in December and had an AI FTP detection on the Career page on 12/28. It never worked, so I just manually updated my FTP.
2026-01-02: I think TR staff updated some accounts and allowed AI FTP to “register”. It just appeared there.
2026-01-29: The day before my AI FTP was due on 1/30, I had an estimated FTP of 243/246. However, my Progression/Workout Levels dropped as if it already accepted my new FTP. In Inspect Element, my Tempo WL dropped from 5.3 to 3.7. Expected drop, but not a day early.
2026-01-30-1before: On the day of my AI FTP (1/30), Career page said I wasn’t enrolled and asked me to accept a 229 FTP from 1/3 as if it didn’t accept my AI FTP on 1/2.
2026-01-30-2after: I accepted AI FTP, and it has an estimated FTP to 260 now.

2026-02-01: I completed a Threshold workout on 1/31, and now Career page says I’m back OUT of the AI FTP program. I am not accepting this in case there is an underlying issue TR needs to look at.

My calendar now has 2x AI FTP detections, one on 2/28 and the other on 3/1.
I’ll be super happy with 260 FTP by the end of February by using 229 for training, but it feels like I’m a state where my AI FTP will never update. It’s already suggesting SS workouts at Level 9. My check volume says I can only do 1 hour, but every SS workout is extending to 1.5 hours.
