I agree with this @TxToast - I think the running of Check Volume could be automated, and your suggestion of doing so on AIFTP Detection Day seems a fair one, as part of a “Take Stock & Review Progress Day”.
On the face of it, the current setup allowing people to run Check Volume on an ad hoc basis seems not to make that much sense, making the feature appear like a bit of a bolt-on afterthought rather than an integral feature. Currently, there’ll be a sizeable bunch of people unaware the feature even exists, and another bunch who know about it but then forget to use it. Seems like a prime case for automation: let everyone benefit from it, running it at a sensible frequency, while removing cognitive load from people so they don’t need to think about this until the system raises it as a suggestion…
I say “On the face of it” & “Seems like” because if we can see this then I feel sure TR will have already considered it, but for some have so far chosen not to automate it for some reason….
In December there was this conversation here, on the subject of Check Volume, involving Nate commenting on the system raising volume:
Maybe someone from TR could comment on the feasibility or sensibleness of automating Check Volume? On the face of it, it seems like a good idea, but maybe there are good reasons not to… ![]()
