📣🎉 ZWIFT + TrainerRoad Integration is LIVE! 🎉📣

what a time to be alive! So excited for this! Training just got a lot easier. No more messing around with 2 apps and trying to perfectly time BLE and ANT+ sync for each app lol

Fire socks and Giro Vanquish is the way to go. Gotta coordinate the whole thing.

Am I able to use my TR prescribed workout to create a Zwift group workout so my friends can join my workout?

Looking forward to trying this having run both apps together for a few years, I can’t help wonder how much I going to miss the blue blocks though. Been a constant in my life for some many years

Wow! Above and beyond, and I can see why it took longer than others to develop. If you ride zwift, you can delete the TR app from your phone. Now if the companies would combine for a joint subscription price that’d be even better. 32.99/mo for both, or something like that…

Just a one income family with 3 kids dad thinking out loud here.

I hope your servers can handle all the new sign-ups you are about to get!
Congrats on this - you deserve all the success coming your way…

Does that mean they’d have to ride at your wattage?

Any reason why the Ramp test I put on the schedule today isn’t syncing with Zwift? Tried restarting both apps. Just signed back up for TR and Zwift due to this update, but of course I’m hitting some turbulence. Any help is appreciated.

We’re working on Ramp Test sync functionality now and hope to have it in place very, very soon. In the meantime, feel free to use the Zwift Ramp Test if you want to test in Zwift. You’ll just need to manually copy your resulting FTP over to TrainerRoad for the time being.

You’re welcome!

Minor note from my first workout experience: in Red Slate, the over/under blocks have a 30s ramping start from the recovery intervals. In my experience, TR treated this as a continuous increase from ~100w to ~250w (for me). In Zwift, this produced two step increase: 15s at 100w, then 15s at 175w, then into the 250w work interval. Not a dealbreaker whatsoever, but thought I’d share my experience!

That’s odd, I’ve only ever known Zwift to ramp up gradually over 5 seconds between intervals.

Top work, had let my TR lapse as couldnt justify both expenses… Cancelled kids Disney Channel and Kayo Sports and will be back on both (-:

I’ve been running Z and TR simultaneously on Windows pc for a while, and have been using Ant + with a dongle for Z and Bluetooth for TR. Does this mean I no longer need Ant + and should connect Z to Bluetooth? I can then ditch the dongle. Or is there some advantage to using Ant+? I used to have lots of dropouts with Bluetooth that went away after I got the Ant+ dongle.

Thanks for this new integration that makes my life easier!
