I asked in a stand alone post, but how does Trainerroad handle if you do two TR workouts in one zwift ride?
Absolutely would love to get the TrainerRoad workout graph back even when training on Zwift. Currently, I try to remember to snapshot the Zwift workout graph from the end screen which mostly does the job. But the TrainerRoad one is nicer and includes progression levels.
Am I going mad or is it not possible to use zwift click/cog after doing a workout. The click is connected and I can change the power percentage in the workout with zwift click but once the workout has ended it doesn’t seem possible to switch to gear mode. Even ending the ride and loading a new route it’s not possible to change gears.
Anyone else noticed this?
Another question. TR Workouts sync geat to my main Zwift App but they don’t appear on my Companion App (Android). Any ideas why?
My wife has just joined TR and her workouts sync to her main App and also appear on her Companion App - she is on iPhone.
I had that happen a couple of times and then it went away. I think there was either a KIKR or Zwift update that fixed it.
Hmmm. I’m using a jet-black victory. Will check with them.
What do you mean by ‘don’t appear in Companion app’? Do you mean your next workout isnt showing in the ‘Next Up’ section, or something else?
I was able to shift after my workout today. So the fix for my system stuck.
Yes, this. @NigelTufnel11.
Is there anything showing as ‘Next Up’ in your Companion app? Perhaps some other event for which you’ve signed up? Or is there nothing? If nothing, are you running the latest version of the Companion app?
I have been really enjoying the TR+Zwift integration for my structured workouts but the one additional feature that I want is to have is having the workout graphs displayed on my TrainerRoad calendar instead of the zwift map which doesn’t convey any information. I really miss the feature as before I could look over my calendar and easily see what type of workouts that I accomplished. So, my Christmas ask for the TrainerRoad crew is to make this happen :-).
This is really interesting. I would assume the real IF recorded on Zwift would then report as lower than on TR or that what was prescribed. I wonder if this could have an effect on the TR algorithms.
I don’t see a “Next Up” area in my Companion App. If I have signed up for a race, it shows at the top of my “Events” area.
I have checked and I’m definitely on the latest app version.
My AI says it is a known issue in the Android App. I’ll raise a call with TR to check.
Sounds like this is an issue with Zwift, not TR, so you might want to raise the question on their forum. In the meantime, have you tried logging out of the Companion app, and then logging back in?
I will if my TR Support call doesn’t resolve it.
And yes, I have tried logging out and in.
Cheers for the suggestions.
A few times now, I’ve had a TrainerRoad workout in Zwift finish immediately on starting it. I’ve tried again and then the same happens. If I try a Zwift workout set up on the fly it’s fine. The TR workout was set in their app several days before. Has anyone else seen this or any clue as to what is happening?
