Did we get an answer to why these increases stopped being shown on the calendar? See where it says productive under silver lake. Second screen shot

I know some people were saying that they were having issues or disappointment in how Zwift handles ramp-ups from TR workouts.

I had zero issues with it today when I did my workout and it had a 30 sec ramp-up. Smooth and progressive, no sudden jumps or blocks. Perhaps it is trainer-dependent? I was using my H3 trainer.

TR stated that was a bug and it should never have been shown. PLs are only shown for TR workouts (done in Zwift or TR) not free rides

Those are trainer road workouts done in zwift tho.

My Neo 2 does not seem to do smooth ramp ups/downs. For those intervals I get a ‘stairstep’ of wattage changes every 15 seconds. I find this odd because the watt-by-watt increases/decreases work as-expected for warm-up/cool-down segments.

Really enjoying the TR and Zwift integration. I am one of those that came back to TR once this was launched. Have had occasional issues with rides not appearing / synching but nothing significan.. A couple of questions:

I have decided to just do the Train Now option…. Just trusting the system and hoping it works. My only frustration is not seeing the ride scheduled until the day of the ride… am I missing something here or is that the case

Also when I have a red day…. I can’t seem to schedule anything for the next day in advance ? I would like to see the train now option for the next day.

I feel like I am missing something here … ?

So I did today’s workout and I got an adapted change which added in another vo2 session for today :joy::joy:

Any idea??

Welcome back!!

Workouts appear on the Zwift homescreen’s “For You” section on the day for which they are scheduled. If you have a workout scheduled for tomorrow, it won’t appear there today. However, the next few days of workouts are added in the TrainerRoad folder in your custom workouts in Zwift. At the top of the screen, click “Workouts” and in the list that appears at the left, choose “Custom”. You should see a TrainerRoad folder, and the workouts will appear in here a few days before they’re scheduled on your calendar.

This is how TrainNow is designed to work. Let me explain!

TrainNow looks at your fitness and needs at this moment and recommends a workout for you, right now (hence the name). When you’re red, your best option for now is to rest, and as a result that’s what it recommends.

While you can technically choose a different day on which to schedule a TrainNow-recommended workout, your needs may change by the time you get to that day, depending on what you do between now and then. That’s why TrainNow is designed around the idea of giving you a workout to do now. For longer-term planning, we typically recommend building a custom plan.

This looks like a bug we’re actively working on now. I’ve forwarded your example to our engineers to make sure. In the meantime, you can just ignore that extra scheduled VO2 max workout for today.

Cool… I definitely wasn’t planning on doing It :joy::joy:

Has anyone asked how to turn off the workout instructions (coaching text) that started getting pulled into zwift? Or at the very least how can I mute the beeps in zwift, it’s too distracting and annoying. I’ve had to put my zwift volume at like 10% until I get this figured out.

I like being alerted that my interval is changing, I don’t like getting a ping every 5 seconds.

I’ve looked all over TR settings and Zwift settings and nothing seems to fix this.

Sorry if this has already been asked I searched a bit before deciding to post.

Turn this off in settings (in the TR apps, I don’t know if it’s present on web)

Turning off the instructional text, as noted by @giventotri, will stop the text, but the beeps are a Zwift thing, and happen for a few seconds before each interval change (along with the flashing arch and avatar highlighting). You might be able to turn this off in the Zwift Setting menu, but I’m not sure. (I ride in Zwift with the volume turned off, as I’m generally watching a race, or something else, so I’m not positive if the beeping counts as a ‘notification sound’.)

I think they’re referring to the beeps when the workout instructions pop up, which should go away when the instructions are turned off (and I agree are very annoying because they’re so distracting, they’re very hard to ignore).

Ah, ok. I didn’t realize any sound accompanied the TR instructions. I don’t recall there being any sound to go with instructions for Zwift workouts and, as I mentioned, I have my sound turned off. But if there are specific sounds that accompany the TR instructions, I’m guessing your suggestion of turning off the instructions in the TR app is likely the way to go. :+1:

Not sure if it has been mentioned but I was searching through my activities on my career page and filtered for outdoor rides and I noticed that all my zwift rides show as outdoors. I am wondering if it’s possible to have them re-categorized to reflect that they occurred indoors?

The one thing I didn’t realize I will miss is extending the cooldown or the warmup. I know I can do free ride on Zwift but the extension doesn’t reflect on the TR workout
