TrainerRoad workouts done in Zwift count towards the initial ten required for AI FTP Detection. So you could sign up for TrainerRoad, do every workout in Zwift, and after 10 you’d be ready to receive an AI FTP Detection. You won’t, however, receive any notification within Zwift. AI FTP Detection occurs within TrainerRoad, either from the TR app or from TrainerRoad.com.
As another Athlete mentioned above, at the current time we can’t sync FTP changes made in TR over to Zwift, or vice-versa. However, your TrainerRoad workouts done in Zwift will always be set to your TrainerRoad FTP, regardless of what FTP setting you have in Zwift.
On the TR app in the calendar section, my workouts show a “Z” in the bottom left corner indicating that it has paired with Zwift and should be in my “For You” section in the Zwift start up menu. This functionality has worked fine up until the last 2 workout sessions where there was no workout waiting for me when I opened Zwift. It looks like tomorrow’s workout will be the same result as it’s not in Zwift either despite the workout being marked with a “Z”. Ive checked that Zwift is paired with TR in the Connections tab.
Is this a Zwift or TR issue? Troubling shooting? Open a ticket (with who?)
@SSaldanha@Vrakoss@martenk@Pipipi@EnduroDog We have deployed multiple updates that should resolve syncing issues with Zwift this morning. Things appear to be working as we’d expect them to again – please let us know if you run into any further issues!
Have you checked the TrainerRoad folder in the Custom Workouts section? If it’s there, any chance that today’s workout has the same name as one you did recently, or have on your schedule for the next day or two?
Hey there. Did your planned workout show up in Zwift today? Everything looked successful from our end, so if it’s still not appearing for you there may be a lingering issue within Zwift we’ll bring up to their team.
It looks like you ride a fair amount of time after the workout (proportionally speaking, anyway), so maybe it doesn’t think they ‘match’. Can you manually match the workout to your Zwift activity and see if that makes it go away?
I know what you mean but my previous screenshot, a few comments up, was only 38 seconds longer. I hadn’t checked it before, so like you suggested, maybe it needs to finish at exactly the same time?
I agree that 39 seconds shouldn’t cause a disconnect (at least not as likely as 15 minutes), but looking at the earlier post (with Wheel -2), I am noting that the TR workout doesn’t appear to have the Zwift ‘Z’ underneath, so I’m wondering if it just wasn’t properly synced to Zwift (even though it was clearly there for you to do), or if the Z is just off the bottom of the screengrab.
