I looking to purchase a chain for a Eagle XX Transmission setup that I will be running on my gravel bike with a 10-52t for events. Curious if anyone has tried both the standard Eagle XX Transmission and the Eagle XX SL Transmission chains and noticed any difference?
The SL has drilled out side plates and is reported as slightly lighter. Both a expensive at $125 and $150 respectively.
I would save money and go with X0 T Type Chain. It’s a few grams heavier, but Zero Friction tested it to be more efficient after it’s cleaned and has a fast lube applied to it: https://zerofrictioncycling.com.au/chaintesting/.

The cheaper chain is faster according to zero friction.
Thanks. That was great info. Ended up ordering the XO. However with TPC going out of business I also ended up picking up an XX for $77.
