Today I completed my first 2,000+ Calorie TR workout. I have no idea why this milestone stands out for me though The amount of calories burned on a ride is meaningless really and you can burn through a huge amount with long outdoor rides. For some reason though I’ve seen the workout calories tick up with higher FTP sustained for longer durations and have been waiting for it to hit 2K. Maybe that’s it, the combination of high output for long duration, you don’t hit those kind of numbers without having both.
