Hi folks, some compatibility help is requested. I have a pair of Lun Hyper wheels from 2022 that I love and want to convert to running Campy Ekar and therefore require to fit an N3W freehub. However, Lun no longer make a compatible N3W free hub as they’ve moved to a ratchet system and they’re not backwards compatible.
Does anyone know of a compatible N3W freehub for these wheels? The hubs are 6 pawl if that helps.
I’m having a bit of trouble understanding your question. Winspace typically uses a 6-paw ratchet system, not other systems like star ratchet, EXP, or DEG.
Do you have any pictures? Did you speak with Winspace directly?
Winspace is one of the few companies that designs its own products and doesn’t share its designs with smaller suppliers. This means their systems aren’t commonly available in the Asian market. If Winspace told you they don’t have it, it might be tough to find it elsewhere.
Thanks for this response @teddygram and sorry for my delayed response. Yes, I spoke to Winspace and they couldnt do it so I ended up having to buy a newer set of wheels. An unexpected expense but at least I now have a solution.
