If you didn’t have anything scheduled that day, and you did what was prescribed the day before and nothing else, your prediction shouldn’t change on an off day.
If that has happened, could you share the dates so I can take a closer look?
Thanks for your super quick reply. On reflection I should have said this has happened occasionally rather than regularly., apologies. I also wish I had more of a paper trail to show you examples.
I have attached one occasion where as far as I can see my FTP prediction altered on an off day. You can see the date and time at the top left on the screen grabs.
I also thought I saw the same pattern this week ( I didn’t manage to grab any screenshots so I may be wrong ) I am pretty sure after my Monday 22nd June Outside workout my AIFTP prediction recalculated to 249 W. When I checked in on my TR app yesterday I saw the recalculation progress bar and my new value was 248 W.
I have set my profile to Public if that helps.
If you don’t mind can I ask you another question?
I successfully completed an indoor workout this morning rating it with the most likely RPE and my AIFTP Prediction went from 248 W to 246 W. Do I have to assume this is HR related?
It looks like that initial drop down from 249 to 248 on the 23rd was because TR recalculated your prediction after confirming that the planned workout on the 22nd wasn’t going to get done.
I’m going to dig into this a bit further, though, and I’ll follow up when I have something else to share.
I took another look, and it seems like the change last week was likely from your survey response attached to the Ohio workout. I think we predicted that to be moderate, and you said it was hard.
