78% of current FTP but this was 4 years ago and it was about 82% then.
I think I could beat it quite easily now if I had the motivation.
If you can hold close to FTP for 2 hours then your FTP must be a lot higher than you thought at the time.
Not according to a ~60 minute all-out effort.
FTP 260 hold but generally don’t do 2 hour rides but my SS is about a 2 hour loop and end up doing close to 230 average. My regular is holding just above 200 (76%) for 3.5-4 hours.
i mean 3% is a lot tbh
sure, but i was more surprised at how long my 2h was, compared to my 3h ![]()
Anyway, 1% at my level is not many watts still ![]()
I am similar to this so am assuming my ftp measurement is wrong.

Recent London triathlon bike leg (2hr 15m c.80k) NP267 with IF1.0 and VI 1.05
So need to re test I think.
Updating this, based on my last two 50miles TT (1w between them but 76s bl00dy headwinds) and my AIFTP my 2 hour power is 78% of my AIFTP.

How do you get an AIFTP?
Enable it, it was detailed a TR announcement about 8 months ago

Right about 90% according the the AI FTP, which was really close to my estimate of FTP as well. This was a 2 hour sweetspot effort on the trainer, so a very steady effort.
Last 6 weeks:
FTP 303
2HP 213 - 70%
All time best (2019)
FTP 330
2HP 234 - 71%
Caveat is I don’t recall ever putting in a full effort for 2 hours, even when on much longer rides, as I mostly aim to be conservative on longer rides.
