What workout did you do today? (2021, part 2)

Tallac -4 - Sweet Spot 4.1

Have cut down to low volume as I’m enjoying my running and hoping to increase time on that, but still nailed this one

Pettit was in my calendar tonight so I took a wee trip down Bullock Rd to the Washingley cross roads before the light faded. The wind must have been a wee bit harder on the way out so I had to loop into the Orton Wistow distributor road to finish before I got home. Even then I had to do a loop of the park car park and access road.

Geiger Sweet Spot 4.5

Rest came at wrong point whilst passing through Titan grove, so I delayed it… then I put foot down a bit to finish Tempus Fujit!

Rest day ahead, will do a relaxed 2,000M row followed by a 5km walk

Tunshu: 8.8. Breakthrough ride.

This is the last week of my Build block. Switched out to this ride to see if I could really push it this week. Totally crushed the workout. Last interval felt harder but not a problem. Definitely feeling as though this build block really improved my muscular endurance which has always been a weakness. Actually excited for the ramp test in 2 weeks.

My kind of humor, a productive sweetspot workout early during base with an IF of 0.96. Apparently, Skynet is close.

:astonished: good work!!

Which build plan are you doing?

Thanks!

I’m on the 6 week Experimental Polarized Build - Mid Volume plan. Or at least I was but now its saying base when I swear it said build a few weeks ago…

Thanks so much! It was alright except for the last sprint. That really took a toll.:grimacing:

4 x 5 @ 113%. Didn’t think I could do it, even with 10 minute recoveries, but AT got it just right. I’m on my third week of SusPB with AT and don’t feel completely thrashed like I did the last time I was here. Could probably go another week but I’ll take the recovery week.

That was actually not too bad

Mono was Adapted into my training plan today and my club ride was pretty relaxed (especially the pub stop, lol ). I let the 3 Moretti’s get out of my system and decided to do it.

Bartlett Peak 8.2 Threshold workout. 4x16 at 102% FTP with 3 min rest

AT set this as my last hard workout before my rest week. Spent the day enjoying good food and sugar to fuel up the ride. The final interval was hard with the last 4 minutes accomplished by focusing on getting to the next minute. When I finished I shouted pretty loud. Don’t remember the cool down to be honest.

Apparently I also set a 1.5 hour all time power record. I’ll take it.

That’s impressive! Good. On. You!

I just completed the last workout of my block before the rest week. Plan called for an SS workout that I replaced with one of the “More Sweet Spot” workouts.

I must have really benefitted from the bonus day off yesterday. After battling my Friday workout I was a bit nervous whether I’d have the legs. It went really well and I was never really struggling which was a huge relief!

Henri having his way with the northeast, so inside ride this morning.

For those who care (e.g. absolutely nobody) the workout streak is currently at 655 days. Probably go to two years and call an end to that bit of silliness
