What PR did you hit today?

Went out on a quick ride today with a buddy and we went after a couple short segments.

Lately i’ve been primarily focused on weight loss and just trying to maintain fitness until I get to my target weight. I was still able to set 22 power PRs today basically from 25-45 seconds, and averaging 600w for about 40 seconds and getting 3rd all time on that segment. Power PRs have been pretty scarce for me lately so this was a nice surprise.

All time 90min power output today. Pretty happy, eating French Toast now

Second ever century, PR: 4:53 and some change. So far two for two sub-5! (Both with groups/team - first one was with two others sub-5; today 5 made it in).

I’ve always wanted to go Sub 5 but just something I’ve never actually tried. You are 2 for 2, congrats!

Wasn’t the goal the first time, but kind of a thought. Today we went out to go sub-5 and got it in spite of a lot of stoplights (sub-5 ride time… maybe someday I’ll go for sub5 total time).

150 in a single ride - 149 power PRs + segment / climb PR :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Power PRs covered everything between 14:15 and 26:35 on the climb from Stinson to Pantoll for those Bay Area folks.

Did this weeks local TT climb… twice. Set a goal of 26:00 by looking on Strava at other guys I know and having never ridden it before. Rode it in 26:09. Ate a gel at the top, rode down, turned around rode up again, 25:08. Power PR’s on both rides. Thanks for listening to my ted talk.

All time 15s PR on Friday, not a big peak power but held it well

Another SS smash – 1-2hr all-time power PRs.

Maybe I’m peaking…or something…new 10min to 135min PRs in the last week.

Eat your Z2s, kids! :muscle:

That’s crazy, congrats. Any plans to spend some of that fitness you’ve been banking or just keep pushing it higher for the love of the game?

Amazing!!!

I am attempting to stick to Zone 2 more. With that I had a different kind of PR yesterday, best ever Z2 compliance, lol. Also was my biggest ever week, 358km, 11h 47m

I know the title says “today” but this is from yesterday. We’ve been doing a virtual gravel race series since we can’t have normal races. Yesterday I did the fourth and final course.

I didn’t set any short duration records, but I was happy with the 1:36:00 - 1:54:00 range.

When your FTP is 357, you get to decide what the title says.

290 for almost 2 hours is no joke, congrats!

Did a short zwift race this morning, hence, the hard as hell first couple of minutes…but I was able to hang on decently!

At 4 months postpartum, I got back to my racing ftp from early last year, which is fairly shocking! I even hit an all-time 1 hour PR then. Better than any outdoor 1 hour too! My outdoor bike power meter is quite a bit higher than my trainer; ranging from 5-10% of a difference depending on the watts.

Is there a way to sort by PM on TrainerRoad? I would love to compare just with my trainer, as I think this is effort would be an all-time PR as well.

On Sunday I had my first race since lockdown here in Australia. (About 4 months). A 54km handicap.

Was super surprised to push out my best ever power for 60 - 90 minutes since I got my power meter in 2014.

Always good when you see the words “ALL TIME”

I did a DK200 distance by myself on gravel and forest roads, avg 214 W over the whole distance with NP 258 W. It took quite exact eleven hours (active time). It was painful and last three hours was proper suffering, but my body handled the whole thing quite ok. My FTP is around 360 W, but I can sustain 310-315 W three hours.
