Watching women’s short track in Leogang and wondering what Tyres they might be running - they need grip in the mud and something fast rolling.
Ideas?
I know of one specific rider who raced a previous wet year at Leogang on special 2.0 Dirty Dans! Very specialist and doesn’t help you much because i don’t think they’re available to the public, but i thought it was pretty cool. I think the reason for the narrow width was so they could cut down into the mud a bit better similar to a cyclocross tyre, rather than floating on top.
[Edit: I think the 2.0s were not available at that time, but may be now]
