I use TR through Zwift. Sometimes for endurance rides or for certain intervals, I’ll be feeling good and boost things by 5-20%. Does that extra effort feedback into the system or is that all for naught?
The old system it would take it into consideration but not impact workout levels. Lowering intensity could cause a fail though.
New system yes, absolutely takes that increase into account. How that’s the mystery

On a side note, I’d recommend not doing that. There is little to gain from increasing your z2 intensity. In fact it’s generally recommended not to (keep your easy days easy and your hard days hard). So if you’re feeling good on z2 days you can go longer, but not harder. Then for your intensity days when it actually matters you can hit it hard.
