What do you do for entertainment while on the trainer?

For endurance sessions I might switch on the TR podcast or GCN but other for other work outs I tend to just watch the clock.

I started GOT a while ago. I have already watched it all, but rewatching with context would be interesting. I got through like half of S1 and then the service I was using (WatchATT app) suddenly pulled it. I have HBO max now, so maybe I’ll try again.

This is completely dependent on intensity. If Zone 2, it can be anything from podcasts to Netflix. If tempo or above, I’m typically either listening to upbeat music, or “watching” something like this Cycling Motivation YouTube video. By “watching,” I mean that I have it running on my iPad or computer, with the audio running through my AirPods, where I can look up at the scenes of TdF stages or other famous races for motivation, while the upbeat, mindless music keeps playing constantly.

I should add that for ramp tests I have nothing on - no TV, music, or podcasts. I just like to focus on the numbers during the test.

I look out the window and wonder why I’m riding a bike, stationery, indoors.

…YouTube and GCN+ for bike racing (mostly), Netflix and Amazon Prime for brainless entertainment.

Same here.
I usually do the test early in the morning so there is no lights. The room is absolutely dark and the only light is the iPad in front of me…

Reading mainly on my endurance workouts. During sweet spot/vo2 I have either GCN+ or my Plex app up on my ipad streaming something from my collection.

How?

@Joelrivera Neo Bike makes it easier . Iphone has TR on it in the holder. My current read and ipad goes there also.

Screen B: Zwift
iPad: Trainer Road workout
Phone: Podcast (started listening to guy from dialed health and of course TR)
Music: Spotify in background

Too much?

I always get motion sickness from reading while on movement… But I do want to read a few books… I haven’t have time in a very long time to seat and read

Makes sense and my “adapted” Saris MP1 works really well and does not move a crazy amount. Had it with my N2T before but wanted to still use it when I got the Neo bike. I kept the 2T as a backup but the Neo bike is amazing and something about it is special when riding.

I am going through the marvel movies right now in order. This is the best detailed list; I found of all things Marvel. Marvel movies in order - how to watch MCU in order

In general, I just play loud music and look out the window, not really registering anything. During recovery rides, I may listen to a podcast, watch a series, or chat on WhatsApp.

Trainerroad YouTube podcasts usually. If hard v02 workout then often just music. If sweetspot or below (and out of TR YouTube videos) then Netflix (currently Grey’s anatomy!)

I’m currently doing this but including all the series in chrono order too. Currently mid way through Dare Devil series 1.

I don’t have too much issue processing stuff at fairly high intensities for whatever reason, so anything’s fair game and it’s usually just dependent on my mood. Most likely lecture revision during the uni term, but also music, TV shows/movies, trashy YouTube personalities, TED talks, Zwift, and the odd D&D podcast.

I would occasionally stream comedies until I almost pooped my pants that time during a super-threshold workout.
