Yeah, that’s the result I’ve come to for now. My issue is that I like to use both Erg and Resistance depending on the workout, and sometimes I’ll use both within the same workout. And, while I will use my road bike and mtb on the trainer (which both have power meters) I have a dedicated trainer bike for a lot of the year that does not.
I’ve heard good things about the Wahoo head units and being able to switch easily, but Just re-upped my TR subscription for a year. The app really does make it seamless for trainer control and a bigger / better screen than my Edge even when I’m not doing the TR workouts / plans.
