Wahoo Kickr Snap: Through Axle Adapter question!

Thank for the quick reply @SimonE1 — and yes, I am referring to the Kickr snap! So odd. One last question if you don’t mind — did you have a 135mm thru-axle? I have 142 and perhaps that is why I’m unable to use it. Thanks again and happy new year.

No probs and happy new year to you too!

Nope, was 142 standard TA, set up as mentioned above, worked perfectly fine. You need to back out the non DS adjuster in full, there’s a securing nut which locks in place your minimum setting… Perhaps it’s this which you’ve not yet adjusted. Otherwise I’m out of ideas I’m afraid. It simply is wide enough. Hope you can get it sorted

I am also running into this with my Kickr snap. Were you able to come up with a solution? Thanks!!

FWIW Im using a 142mm rear ended cx bike on my snap. It has a 12mm through axle and I got one from Robert Axle Project. The caps do NOT match. However, they do work. Everything is locked in snuggly. Im pretty light and Im also on a rocker plate, so there is a little less stress on things.

i run a cervelo bike with RAT axle and the only option for kickr snap is the robert axle project wheel on axle. it work well for me ( i weight 77kg) no risk of kickr snap clamp hitting the chainstays and it work so well to a point i just leave the 2 axle end caps on even when i go for outside rides. I did purchase the lightning axle but i just don’t bother to switch out the axle for outside rides.
