I just picked up a KICKR Snap and noticed that the adapters on the trainer don’t permit my bike with a 12x142mm rear thru axle to fit properly. I see that Wahoo sells an axle kit that also comes with a replacement end cap or adapter that goes on the trainer. However, I have a Kurt Kinetic Traxle on my bike now that I was using with my older Kurt Kinetic trainer.
It seems as though this isn’t compatible with the Kickr. Any information or similar experiences? Will I have to purchase the $60 thru-axle kit from Wahoo? Or can I buy this adapter individually?
