Every so often I get on my Wahoo Kickr and it is almost impossible to spin up. To get it moving I have to stand up to produce the grunt required to get the fly wheel moving (my FTP is 275ish). This follows me through into the workout where can never maintain a normal cadence (90-95 typically) and RPE is through the roof on workouts I know I can and have done (e.g. 2x20 SS).
More frequently, I can hear the trainer whining after it has coasted to a stop and when the noise stops it becomes normal to spin up, but this tends to not impact the whole workout.
Have tried the obvious firmware update, and I calibrate before every workout.
Has anyone else experienced this? Seems a bit extreme to fall within the scope of “an off day”.
