I don’t think there really is universal recipe for everyone when it goes to sleep problems. But about vitamin D - agreed. That’s why I’m trying to get as much vitamin D as I can every summer. But I still have problems with health. I’m snoring all the time, for example. I’ve thought that it’s because I was cold all the time, but now I see that this wasn’t a problem. Not so long ago I saw this VitalSleep Review: #1 Helps Prevent Snoring? [2020 UPDATE] review. Maybe if I use this stuff, it will help me?
As an aside there have been studies recently which suggests low levels of vit D increase the risk of contracting respiratory viruses, in particular covid 19!
Agreed, The trouble is when vitamin D is taken in high doses with a poor diet. Often older people are taking a Calcium/D supplement only and it can do more harm than good in terms of soft-tissue calcification. I take one elderberry/day with Vit D though there have been studies recommending the role of elderberry directly inhibit the virus and help strengthen the immune especially when we need it.
