I have a 3t exploro 2x with grx 400 groupset and I want to upgrade it to wireless a
I am not certain frame compatibility with di2. and i prefer sram to be honest.
since my bike comes with grx it means i should use a ‘wide’ version of sram?
another reason i want to go sram is because i want to use a powermeter and shimano power are abysmal and i like to have spider PM lis p2m or quarq.
left side only is not good enough for me.
I’d say that largely depends on the width of tire you’re planning on using. If you’re planning on using something fat (looks like the regular Exploro can take up to 54mm wide?), then I’d definitely go with Wide. And honestly, unless you’re super sensitive to Q-Factor, I don’t see any reason not to go with Wide since it provides more flexibility in the long run.
this bike is a disguised road bike… but with fatter tires for winter rides.
i’d run max 35 gp5kas tires on 700c wheels afaik the 3t clears 54mm on 650b wheels.
my question is more on frame compatibility, will a road RD/FD will clear the chainstays?
Hm, seems like the derailleurs should work without a hitch. The crankset is maybe a concern? How much clearance is there between the cranks and chainstay with those GRX cranks you’re using now?
these are not grx chainring, they are ultegra 50/34. I upgraded them from the grx 46/30 when i purchased the power2max
i am using the rotor axle 24mm offset along with rotor aldhu cranks. p2m road powermeter and ultegra 50/34 chainrings
i presume if i can clear a 50 big ring. i can clear a 48. right?
