I see Amity Rockwell is whining about Lauren having aerobars, drafting, and something about unwritten rules.
The gate keeping is stupid. It’s dumber than when I was 19 and going to punk shows and that whole “scene”. At least we could be excused for being dumb 19yo’s.
Amity has a Pinerello sponsorship, rides 6hrs a day (does she have a job?), etc.
Now that bike manufacturers and parts suppliers are giving certain people unreleased models, support, sponsorship like RedBull, etc. It’s not grassroots anymore.
I think this might be the year that gravel jumps the shark, and they either need to write down these “unwritten rules” or these riders going to have to deal with the inevitable.
