Waiting
I am so happy the rain held off and the mud will be minimal. I want to see how all these frankenbikes and aero optimizations perform. Should be a very good and competitive day!
I’m on a black factor with white socks and black shoes
Good luck everybody. I’d be curious to hear about any run ins with the real star of the show - BottASS!
I love how ‘next level’ Keegan is with his setup. This number placement isn’t surprising for the guy who bought a smaller, lighter iPhone just for the race.
Although I wonder if he’s accounting for the extra aero lift he might be getting here?
Is the results tracking not showing the pros for anyone else?

This is something to say the least haha. These guys from Rodeo Labs showed up to Emporia without bikes. Went to Walmart and spent $200 on a bike but then did some mods to help the bikes make it through the 200 mile course. Pretty awesome

Picking the split you want seems to offer accurate results.
Click the category “elite men” in the drop down menu.
Per the link (not sure how accurate it is) there’s a 3 man break 2 min up the road and the the peloton of 50+ at mile 101.
Looks like Lachlan Morton and Chad Haga three minutes off the front with 50 miles to go. Huge chase group with all the heavy hitters behind, so I bet another good finish
Good to see DJ right there. Seems course conditions aren’t a factor this year and weather seems ideal.
Anyone know what happened with Keegan? Athlinks is showing him ~6 minutes off the 2 leaders, and 3 minutes off the main chase group
I stepped away and didn’t see what happened but you can watch a mostly live feed here: https://www.instagram.com/lifetimegrandprix/live/?broadcast_id=17984794661677698
Dylan going to sell a lot of Lauf forks with his performance today.
The instagram livestream has been very good. Can’t believe how well it’s going for DJ.
the people’s champ takes it
DJ in 11th is damn impressive. Will be a lit Bonk Bros this week. Hope he does a deep dive into how his equipment choices played out.
I think he was third in terms of the Grand Prix riders, right? only Lachlan and Payson were ahead of him. Great ride by Payson as well. Dude always has some gnarly bad luck.
I wonder if Keegan has his sights on UCI world champs and this was a C race.
DJ did great as well as Payson, I’m really happy for Lachlan.
