TSS for Infrared Sauna

Should I include a guess of TSS for doing Sunlighten Mpulse sauna several days a week?

Well TSS is specific to cycling. I don’t know if there’s a way to track stress from heat.

Thank you. Thought I would ask as people put TSS for weight training.

Is that a thing? I’ve never seen this. I don’t know how you would even do this because TSS is based off FTP which obviously weight training doesn’t have.

Hot take - you shouldn’t be doing that either.

The conclusions from one of the papers cited on the sunlighten website

“Conclusions: Contrary to popular belief, acute sauna use does not lead to a reduction, but to an increase in BP and HR with a consequent increase in myocardial oxygen consumption. The cardiac load during the sauna use corresponds to a moderate physical load of 60-100 watts.”

What would your guess of TSS be for each session?

Hot take:

This is more valid than using TSS for lifting.

Doesn’t make it all that valid…

Don’t forget to apply progressive overload to your sauna sessions.
