Training Plan Idea

I’ve been on TR for the past 3 weeks in preparation for the last race of my XC season. My next race will not be until late April/early May. Just looking for ideas for a plan that will get me through the winter and to my next race. Do I put in the race date and let the system build me a plan until then or should I choose something else. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas.

I would definitely suggest you add your events to the calendar and let the TR AI do its magic to create and monitor/adjust as you progress through the plan. I’d consider this the standard/default approach and I would only do something else if there is something specific about your history/needs that warrants a different approach.

Plug in the event and let the system work.

The only thing I’d say is not to run TRs base season. It puts too much sweet spot for a given volume.

@Twattsvelo, in terms of base training, we believe that 99% or more of our athletes will have better success with General Base training instead of Traditional Base. :+1:

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and put in my next event date and it gave me a plan, a really long one over many weeks but do have a structured plan to follow.
