His “rant” last week was actually good, too. He basically made the point that sweet spot and polarized (little “p”) each have their place and time in a season. Naturally as volume increases you can only add so much intensity without burning out. Therefore, the overwhelming majority of volume increase comes from Coggan Z2 / POL Z1 endurance, which makes the overall plan more polarized (again, little “p”).
