Hey Nate, if you wanted to try a fast drop ride you are welcome to join Coast to Toast on Saturday morning. Approx 100km at avg 33-35km/hr with hills. Ride starts in Manly, up to Palm beach, then back through Akuna Bay and loop back to Manly again. Usually a group of 20-30 A-B grade riders. A couple of regroup points along the way.
Wonder if it’s that “do you know what this is?” dip you’ve had on Sunday.

Highly doubt it with those symptoms.
They are on the list, plus there are a lot of people returning from the USA with it. Two schools shut down due to teachers having been to US, oh and a doctors practice.
I’m not a health care professional, but I’d be getting checked out , its not going to cost him any watts! 
Fever, cough with or without sputum production, shortness of breath. None of which he has. Don’t get people worried when you don’t have to. Sounds like classic food poisoning. Not everything has to be Coronavirus.
I agree. Food poisoning or differences in water. I get massive stomach upsets during the first week overseas also.

Hadn’t read that. Good find. It’s always poop causing problems for everybody.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to downplay Covid-19. I just think we should be careful not to over-diagnose every illness and spread panic. I work at a hospital in the US with a few confirmed cases, and we’re seeing huge influx of people coming to the ER after every sneeze or sniffle. If I was a healthy person (and didn’t work at one), the last place I’d want to go right now is a hospital.

Just getting this thread back on track a bit. Although a few of our friends from last week are at the Bathurst Cycling Classic this weekend (good luck!) I propose one of the following 2 routes for Saturday:
Option 1: Nate Pearson Saturday Option 1 Tempe | 119.1 km Cycling Route on Strava
The “best bits” of the National Park, starting at Tempe car park with a bit of “commute” riding to get there.
Option 2: Nate Pearson Saturday Option 2 - Whole Park from Sutherland | 70.0 km Cycling Route on Strava
Straight to the good bit, starting at Sutherland and taking in more of the gorgeous national park.
Both options have coffee stop options and numerous catch up points. Either way I’m riding to/from so if anyone wants to join that’s fine.
