I appreciate you guys responding to my question, but what you’re describing does not permit customization on a block-by-block basis, which is what we’re discussing.
Instead, the method you’re describing adjusts weekly scheduling for the entire plan, not just for the block whose annotation placeholder that you clicked on.
We were told a while back that the previous ability that we had within Plan Builder to organize differently the individual blocks within a plan was being taken out in this new version, and that indeed seems to be the case.
I remain all ears if someone can point me to how in this new version of Plan Builder we can customize on a per-block basis - because I would like to do this myself! - I am desperate to be mistaken here
It would be nice if the career progression levels graph indicated the levels at your last FTP change. I find myself going back and pulling these numbers from earlier workouts to see how I’m progressing between FTP updates. A small unobtrusive mark on the bars or a note in the pop-up text would be really convenient. Upon accepting or changing FTP these values would reset.
I would like the EASY DAY endurance workout and the ENDURANCE DAY endurance workout to be treated differently.
→Because if you complete a high level workout on ENDURARANCE DAY, the EASY DAY endurance workouts will also be all workouts that stay around the Z2 limit for a long time.
2.REST DAY should not be left blank on the calendar, but should have a “REST DAY” workout listed.
→I’m tempted to put in some workout if I leave it blank. TR users know how difficult it is to take a break.
+1 for this. If you choose a rest day because it’s been prompted by RLGL, you get a nice ‘rest day’ graphic appear in your calendar. Would be great to be able to select the same for a planned day off ahead of time in the calendar - at. the minute training adjustments only gives you options for time off, injury, or illness.
We do treat Endurance workouts differently than Recovery workouts.
During recovery weeks your workouts should have a lower IF than some of the typical Endurance rides in regular weeks. Do you see something different in your plan?
I don’t know if this has been suggested, but it would be cool to be able to upload an event using a gps file, date, etc and have a plan created based on that. I imagine it would be a but like BBS, combined with TR to create a custom plan.
Modern workout creator that would include the ability to have the trainer automatically switch modes back and forth between ERG and Resistance (and the ability to set the resistance level for the interval)
Workout playlists - e.g., Run workout 1 and then automatically start workout 2 once workout 1 ends, and combine the two (or 3, 4, etc.) into a single workout. The use case would be that I could have different standard warmups separate from the workout. Plus for TR workouts, I could run my warmup instead of the too short (for me) standard TR warmup for Sweet Spot / Threshold, etc. workouts
In plan builder / Adaptive training, the ability to select intensive / extensive progression by zone. E.g., for Threshold and below, I could tell the system to progress these zones by extending the interval duration, and not to increase the intensity / %FTP
Thanks for the reply.
I have a 2.5-3 hour endurance day and 1-2 hour easy days set up during the week of reinforcement, but when I complete a workout like Townhill or BigMountain with a difficulty of 6-7 on the endurance day, my endurance progress increases and the easy day The endurance workout will also be a workout that exceeds IF 0.7 like James.
I am hoping to separate those two to avoid that.
I am a non-English speaker so I am using a translation site. Please forgive me if the nuances are not correct.
On the Career tab, I would like to have the option to view the training stress graph in such a way that you can easily make a YoYoYoY comparison.
For example, rather than having the X-axis run from Year 1 Month 1 to Year 4 Month 12, have the X-axis only run from Month 1 - Month 12 and have 4 line graphs to show the TSS by week. This will make it easier to assess how the user is trending YoY.
On the career tab, it would be great to see all the current power levels for each zone. Progression levels are nice, but I have to dig into a completed workout and scroll down to find my current power targets per zone.
