I am enrolled in the TR Beta program. On my iOS devices, TR betas update automatically through TestFlight. Should I expect a notice through TR on my PC when there is a new Windows beta? Last year, I regularly got update messages soon after loading TR. With the beta installed, I don’t get any.
I was thinking about this last week that I can’t recall the last time I saw the “reboot to install updates” in the TR windows beta app.
From memory the PC app still does the same amount of updates - it just doesn’t tell you anymore 
This was TRs solution to everyone complaining about the number of updates… I for one I’m perfectly happy with this solution
