Started a formalized TR program for the first time in maybe a year or so with the new AI changes. Overall I like the customization for what I’m trying to accomplish.
This was the first week and like many others, it assigned some workouts I wasn’t sure if I could finish, but ultimately did very well. During todays over/under workout (Wheel -2), about 5 minutes after my last over/under, the app unexpectedly restarted. When it started back up, it showed no saved data and listed Wheel -2 as “today’s workout” that I still needed to complete. It also dropped my predicted FTP by 1 watt which doesn’t make sense but I don’t really care.
Now, it’s showing the workout data up to the point where the app shut down, but it’s probably considering the workout as a failure as I had around 15ish minutes left. Fortunately, my power is controlled and also logged by my Garmin head unit, so I have record of the full workout there. However, my indoor rides don’t sync to TR or else I’d have to delete them after every ride.
Any thoughts? This workout was a big accomplishment but is now showing like a failure. I have the full record of completion in Garmin..
I noticed that this has now dropped my predicted FTP now by 4 watts from where it was before I did the ride, and also altered my workouts from next week. While this may have partially resulted from the “very hard” rating I gave it, I have to assume it’s showing as a failure/incomplete workout because of the app restarting..
I don’t really care about the adjusted workouts or the FTP change, I just want them to be “right” and the program assuming I didn’t finish the workout can’t be feeding the proper information. I also care about tracking the proper TSS, which is also now inaccurate.
Thank you. Getting this error. Do I dare delete the TR activity, upload this, then manually sync to the prescribed workout? (Not sure how to manually sync to a workout)
Yes I have it sorted in terms of uploading. Do you know if you can change the workout I completed to Wheel -2? It’s automatically trying to sync to Kennedy, which isn’t the right workout.
