Seems atleast on my android tablet if you lock rotation to landscape then start trainerroad it switches it forces to portrait. Having rotation set to auto and it can stay in landscape mode. On my samsung a9+ tablet with android 15. Also tried it on an old samsung s6 tablet i have does same thing.

I am able to replicate the issue on my iPhone. I will take it to the devs and let you know what they say.
In the meantime, the workaround would be to keep it unlocked.
