There is nothing more motivating than

  • Suffering through the first 8min Sweet Spot interval at 100%
  • Deciding that 90% of your max heart rate isn’t sweet spot no matter what the watts say.
  • Turning the workout down so you can make it through 5 intervals without dying.
  • Making it through the workout, but just barely.
  • The survey coming up that basically says, “Hey, why do you suck so bad?”
  • The AI rewarding you with Sweet Spot 4.1 → 4.1 (±0) which you could have also gotten by drinking a beer on the couch.

I hope when the robots take over they are nicer than the TR AI…
