The true cost of indoor training

I have some vitiligo on my chin. It wasn’t that noticeable because I’m already embarrassingly white. Then I grew a beard–which is naturally red–and all the hairs in that area came out ghost-white. So, now I have an off-centered patch of white hair on my chin, and it is the only aspect of my physical appearance that regularly receives compliments from strangers. :grinning:

PS. Joking ^^^ aside, skin care and UV protection is a serious matter, especially for cyclists with all that time in the sun. I never go out without Factor 50 or 30 sunscreen. More important than going out with a rain jacket imo

The true cost of indoor training: no burn lines! Yes, I’m a pasty Brit :joy:

I did a nice 1:30:00 at 0.66IF, then ahem it went a little off plan and I ended 2:00:00 at 0.79.

Nicely defined tanlines here…I’ve put my trainer outdoor in my yard as soon as the weather got better.

Tan lines are the hallmark of cyclists. It’s like tattoos for bikers… you only belong here if you have those damm tan lines! #tanlines2020

(joking of course…)
