Hi
Interesting podcast so thanks to yourself and Alex.
I have a few questions about weight loss.
Welcome & Why Recovery Between Hard Workouts Matters More Than You Think
- You’ve picked up from training models that more recovery might be needed between hard days, how can we gauge whether two or more days is needed? It sounds like this is beyond fatigue management. Physiologically, any training will interrupt recovery processes, but that can mean big swings day to day in energy needs.
7:55 The Biggest Reason Athletes Don’t See Nutrition Results: Inconsistency
- describes common challenges with diet consistency, but doesn’t describe what consistency should look like?
15:30 Practical Nutrition Habits That Actually Work Long-Term
- Schedule is mentioned, but I’m not clear on what good looks like or how important that is?
- I’m not sure what habits are being recommended
If I train twice a day (triathlete, 30% BF), eat three meals, two snacks, plus fuel during workouts I get irritated by how much of my attention is taken up by food
after a few days I give up the effort and switch to small breakfast, forget lunch and huge dinner!
