Tahoe Trail 100 experiences / advice

Here’s my fueling for the race:
4 sis betafuel (40g each, 160g)
1 sis electrolyte 22g
1 gu caffeine shot 22g
2 Maurten c bars (44g each, 88g)
4 bottles Roctane 3scoop (90g each, 360g)
2 bladders @1.5L but only drank 2L h2o

552g carb / 5:11:45 → 106.15 g/hr carb

I wish I could tell you how to pace. I’m still figuring it out myself and even harder in the heat with the elevation. On a normal day at sea level, putting out that power at 80F I would have been OK. But on Saturday, I cramped at mile 53. Hit me out of nowhere. Was able to recover relatively quickly but was power limited after the cramp, was too afraid of it ending my day.

Mile 53 is right about at the Tevis road climb after western states…tough climb.
