Syncing with Strava

How can I actively sync my workouts with Strava if it didn’t happen automatically? Can I do it manually? I can’t find a function for this anywhere.

We are pulling activities from Strava into TR. Are your TR activities not syncing to Strava?

Yes, that’s correct. My TR activities aren’t syncing with Strava.

Which workouts aren’t syncing? It looks like yesterday’s and today’s are showing in Strava. :eyes:

I have synced them manually with Xert.

Have you double-checked your connection in TR and Strava to ensure that you’ve checked the box that allows TR to push completed activities to Strava? Disconnecting and reconnecting them should let you view those options again.

Could you reach out after you complete your next workout before you manually sync it over? I’d like to take a look to see what’s happening.

Yes, you can usually sync it manually if the automatic upload didn’t work.

Try opening the completed workout in TrainerRoad and check whether there’s an option to Re-sync or Upload to Strava. If you don’t see one, disconnecting and reconnecting your Strava account in Account Settings > Ride Sync can often trigger future uploads.

If it’s just a single missing workout, you can also export the workout file (such as a .FIT file) from TrainerRoad and upload it manually to Strava through the Strava website.

If none of those options work, it may have been a temporary sync issue, and TrainerRoad Support should be able to help recover the missing activity.

Okay, I’ve disconnected and reconnected the link to Strava, and now it’s working. It’s strange, because I did exactly the same thing before and it didn’t work then. But never mind—the main thing is that it’s working now. Thanks a lot for the help.

Let me know if you have any issues down the road! :+1:
