Supplement Brands

Hey,

I’ve found a few threads on supplements, but never found a lot of recommendations on which brands etc. and don’t trust the producer’s claims etc.

I want to supplement Vit D (for winter probably 5-10k iU/day) and fishoil (around 3-6g/day). As I think these are quite commonly taken, hoping to hear which brands you like and have a good value for money.

Thanks!

Thorne. Solid products with high standards. I take their D3/K2 drops along with a few other things.

Interesting sites, thanks for sharing.

Anyone familiar with research on lion’s mane? Hear a lot about it but am skeptical by nature.

I think the brand will be country dependent. However, before deciding on any brands, I would check out https://examine.com/ for clear summaries on reported effectiveness and dosages, then decide on a brand.

Nice links.

Quick note that Labdoor is monitored by some of the larger vitamin and supplement companies. Know of a couple instances where product formulations we changed to drive better Labdoor results.

For the topic: Wife and I use the Bulk Supplements brand for several items. Readily available in USA.

Does anyone have recommendations for the following suppliments that are clean, safe, and in capsule form (if easy to purchase…aka on Amazon, it’s a bonus)

beta alanine
beetroot
BCAA

This is the one I’ve always used and like it:
